After having been closed for some time, Het Scheepshuys will reopen on friday the seventh of April. This building is too beautiful to remain closed for long. After 12 years, the hotel has found a new owner and is being thoroughly renovated. The old grandeur will remain, with added in modern twists to ensure the beauty and comfort of this boutique hotel remains as people remember.
Het Scheepshuys will offer bed and breakfast. 12 unique rooms, a lounge, breakfastroom, garden and own parking space. Personal attention, hospitatlity and good service are always front and center with us. The remarkable history of the accomodation adds to the unique and intimate atmosphere. Het Scheepshuys is no standard hotel, but is known for a personal and unique style. You will truly feel ‘at home’ here. We make sure you are well cared for.
Thanks to the painters of Ad Klus, the styling of Studio EER and the paint and curtains provided by Biggelaar Ver en Wand, the hotel is truly being transformed at the moment. All rooms are being sanded, repainted and redecorated. For a sneak preview, check out the styling moodboard below.
Those who have visited us before will recognize the beautiful copper ship as a weathervane on top of the building. There is a wonderful story behind this ship….romantic too. During your visit, we will be glad to share it with you over a cup of good coffee. Until then!
