I don’t have a credit card. Can I still book at Boutique Hotel Het Scheepshuys?
You can book with us without a credit card via the booking module on our website, by
email or by telephone. You pay for the room on arrival by debit or credit card or in cash.
I want to cancel my reservation. What are the rules?
If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, no fee will be charged (if cancelled before 12:00 pm). If cancelled later or in case of a no-show, the total reservation fee will be charged. Different cancellation conditions apply for groups. You can find these in our general terms and conditions.
Do I get the exact same room as the picture on the website?
The photos on this website give an impression of the various rooms at Boutique Hotel Het Scheepshuys. We have 9 unique, different rooms. Depending on the reservation details, it will be determined which room is suitable.
Can I also book a baby cot?
Yes, you can. We can always place a cot in the room free of charge.
Are pets welcome in the hotel?
Pets are not welcome in the hotel.
What time can I check in?
You can check in every day between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm. After 7:00 pm we have a
code service to open the door. We will always coordinate your check-in time with you
Can I park at the hotel?
At our hotel you can park for free on our property, so you don’t have to worry about your car during your stay. Enjoy your stay without additional parking fees, because with us, parking for hotel guests is completely free and easy.
How do I reach the hotel?
You can reach the hotel by car via the A58, A27. You can also reach us by bicycle, taxi and bus (bus lines 5 and 7 from Breda Central Station).
DOES THE HOTEL OFFER A SHUTTLE SERVICE?
We provide a shuttle service to the various airports with a regular carrier. Please contact us for current prices.
IS THERE WIFI AT THE HOTEL?
We offer free Wi-Fi in all rooms and common areas.
HOW FAR IS THE CITY CENTRE FROM THE HOTEL?
You can reach the centre in 5 minutes by car, in 10 minutes by bicycle and in 25 minutes by foot. We also rent out bicycles. There is a bus stop 500 metres from the hotel. If necessary, we will gladly arrange a taxi for you.
IS SMOKING ALLOWED IN THE HOTEL?
Smoking is not allowed in the hotel. Outside on the terrace are several ashtrays.
FROM WHAT TIME CAN I USE THE ROOM I HAVE RESERVED?
The room is available from 3:00 pm on the day of arrival. If you would like to use the
room earlier, please contact us and we will discuss the possibilities.
IS THE RECEPTION DESK STAFFED 24 HOURS?
Due to the small scale of our hotel, our reception desk is not manned 24 hours a day.

IS THERE A POSSIBILITY TO BUY DRINKS IN THE HOTEL?
We recently opened a coffee bar in our hotel. Here you can find great coffee, delicious
specially selected tea and other drinks.
IS THERE A RESTAURANT AT THE HOTEL TO DINE?
Dinner is not possible in the hotel. There are three good restaurants within walking
distance. The centre of Breda offers many different restaurants. We are happy to give
you good restaurant tips from the reception. If you wish, we can always make a
reservation for you.
CAN I RENT A BIKE?
There are 8 bicycles available for hire. The costs are €7.50 per bicycle per day.
IS THERE LAUNDRY SERVICE IN THE HOTEL?
We have an ironing board and iron available for you. If desired, we can have your
IS IT POSSIBLE TO RECEIVE AN INVOICE?
We can send you the invoice by email or give you a printout. If you require your
company details to be included on the invoice, please let us know.
WHAT TIME DO I HAVE TO LEAVE MY ROOM ON MY DAY OF DEPARTURE?
On weekdays, this is no later than 10:00 am and on weekends no later than 11:00 am.
Late check-out is possible at an additional fee.
